“Governor, close Planned Parenthood without delay!”

Call the Governor’s office today and respectfully insist he lead on this issue. Nebraska shouldn’t spend one more day complicit in this horror.
It is “just that simple.” Sometimes, things really are “just that simple.” Sometimes, a wrong is so egregious that there really is no room for debate – no gray area to ponder – just an agonizing scream for justice. So it is with the recent revelations regarding Planned Parenthood and their trafficking in the scraps of humanity we once had the courage to call a baby.
It is a “gestational product” now, not a child that has been brutally dismembered by a callous society with no time for an inconvenient pregnancy. It is a source of profit to an organization founded in abject racism and nursed (but never weaned) at the government teat. Nearly a quarter of a million dollars of taxpayer money are spent by Planned Parenthood every working hour.
Nearly a half a billion dollars a year given to an organization that we now discover sells the dismembered organs and other assorted body parts of the children they vacuum from the womb.
The news came in the form of video evidence when a medical watchdog group, the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) filmed Senior Planned Parenthood Executives blithely discussing the going rate for intact organs harvested from the torn bodies of aborted children, over dinner no less.
The first video released revealed the Chief Medical Director of Planned Parenthood describing the preferred methods of aborting a child in order to do the least amount of harm to the most profitable organs and other “products of gestation.”
The follow-up video, featuring the President of Planned Parenthood’s Medical Directors’ Council, Mary Gatter, haggling over the prices she wants for the dismembered children, at one point saying –
“Let me just figure out what others are getting, and if this is in the ballpark, then it’s fine, if it’s still low, then we can bump it up. I want a Lamborghini.”
Partial birth abortion, a procedure long-decried as particularly inhumane, remains legal in no small part due to the pressure of Planned Parenthood and their allies on Capitol Hill. These video revelations put the lie to PP’s statements that partial birth abortion is a medically necessary option, revealing instead that the procedure permits the most convenient and efficient method of harvesting organs.
Quite simply, an end to partial birth abortion would pose a significant impediment to Planned Parenthood’s organ and tissue peddling enterprise, which as we see from the video evidence is a vast cash-cow to the group.
According to Dr’s Nucatola and Gatter, the going rate is between $30 and $100 for the dismembered parts depending on quality and desirability. Planned Parenthood performs nearly a half a million abortions every year, placing the value of their illicit (and illegal) trade between a low of $45 million to as much as $150 million depending on the number of “specimens” harvested and sold from each abortion.
Of course the abortion apologists insist that “it’s all for medical research” and the fees involved only cover costs incurred. This is a demonstrable lie in that there is virtually no additional cost involved, aside from packaging the pieces that once formed an innocent child, much like the corner butcher would for a customer doing the week’s shopping.
For many years pro-life advocates have tried to curtail taxpayer funding of abortions and abortion providers like Planned Parenthood. For just as many years they have been dismissed as closed-minded fools, worshiping a fantasy man in the sky.
Regardless of religious affiliation, or any religious beliefs whatsoever, is it truly possible that in the nation once known as the conscience of the globe, we can watch this hideous, Mengele’-like behavior and still turn a blind eye?
I call on the Governor to immediately order all Planned Parenthood clinics, providers or affiliated groups shuttered until a full and complete investigation has been concluded. Not after a committee studies the issue. Not after Planned Parenthood’s army of lobbyists have been mobilized, papering the Unicameral with blood-soaked dollars.
Close them now Governor and launch the investigation.
